At the weekend we’re holding our second event of the year and are using Ottolenghi’s simple as our guide. Think exciting, fresh, unique combinations all served up with the usual Manor twists!

December Menu – American Christmas

It’s time to mention the “C” word… Christmas! Next weekend we’ll be hosting our Christmas event and we’ll be taking inspiration from all things USA.

We’ll be cooking up some fun dishes with some American twists and festive cheer. Dan’s already got the tree up and here’s the menu. We can’t wait!

December 2017 Menu: Nigel Slater’s Christmas

This coming weekend we’ll be hosting two consecutive evenings where we’ll be celebrating all things Christmas!  Using Nigel Slater’s beautiful book The Christmas Chronicles as our inspiration we’ll be cooking up a number of not-so traditional festive treats for our diners.

We’re really looking forward to bringing some Christmas cheer and spirit at the weekend. We’d love to know what you think.

October 2017 menu – 6th birthday, inspired by Oklava

When we had the crazy idea to start up a supperclub back in 2011, we didn’t know how long we’d do this for or if anyone would want to come! Untrained, home cooks inviting strangers to share an evening of food and drink? Scary stuff.

However, we needn’t have worried and 6 years later we’re still going strong, went on a huge learning curve, made loads of improvements and we’re the longest running supperclub in Leeds. Wow! We’ve had around a thousand guests round our table which is quite overwhelming, but hopefully we’re doing something right.

At the weekend we’re celebrating our 6th birthday and using one of our favourite booksrestaurants / chefs as our muse, Selin Kiazim. We’ll be cooking up an array of Turkish-Cypriot delights across a number of small plates.

September 2017 menu – Scandinavian Comfort Food

At the weekend, we’ll be opening up the Manor for two nights, serving up a wealth of delicious Scandinavian inspired delights for our guests.

Using recipes from some of our favourite Scandi cooks there will be some traditional dishes alongside some more modern interpretations.

As you know, we’re huge Scandiphiles so we’re really looking forward to this one!

March ’17 Menu – Inspired by Rick Stein with North Brewing Co Beers

Time’s flown by since our Ottolenghi event last month and next weekend we will be welcoming 24 guests over two evenings to enjoy an array of delights inspired by Rick Stein’s new book, Long Weekends.

Here’s the menu, we’ll be taking our guests on a culinary tour of Europe, from Reykjavik to Palermo to Vienna and beyond! All washed down with four beautiful beers from Leeds’ own North Brewing Company.

We cannot wait!
