About

Dinner at the Manor is Leeds’ longest running secret supper club located in a mystery location less than two miles from Leeds city centre in west Leeds. Set up in 2011 it is hosted by Dan and Susie, AKA Martini Man and Sticky Pinny. We are capable, amateur cooks with a passion for good food and conversation. We met at university 20 years ago and have remained firm friends ever since. We run the supperclub at Dan’s house in Leeds, sharing the cooking and the front of house between us.

Join us for a special evening that you’ll be talking about for weeks! We will cook you a delicious multi-course meal, served in a friendly, beautiful atmosphere. Unassuming from the outside but spectacular from the inside, you will be intrigued by your visit to The Manor. It has a rich and interesting history, which you’ll be able to learn about when you come to dine with us!

This is a fun and interactive dining experience which will get you sharing tables, food and good conversation with new friends. The formalities of a traditional resturant are left at the door but the food is just as good. If you love food and good people then a secret supperclub could be for you! We love opening up our home to passionate foodies and look forward to welcoming you soon – perhaps you’ll become one of our dedicated regulars?!

Our dinners, lunches and afternoon teas run once or twice a month on rotation and are based around one of our favourite cook books*. We’d had enough of them gathering dust on the book shelves so we’re finally putting them to good use. We prepare delicious multi-course meals for you (typically consisting of canapés, starters, main courses, dessert, and petit four with coffee – but we do try and mix this up every now and then!) as well as some extra seasonal surprises and a welcome cocktail. To find out more about past events then do check out our reviews section where we write up our own events and where other diners have reviewed us too.

Our forthcoming dates are fully booked. However in the event of cancellations we always advertise these on Twitter and on this blog. The best way to keep in touch with us is to sign up to the blog or follow us on twitter @datm_leeds.

We are part of Ms Marmite Lover’s (aka Kerstin Rodgers) network of supperclubs. To find out more about her and other supperclubs check out her Supperclub Fan Group website.

We are passionate foodies who love to dine out as well as cook for others. We also use this blog to do reviews of lovely restaurants and foodie experiences. To keep up with our foodie adventures then do sign up to our blog and you’ll be emailed every time we post an update, or check out our reviews section.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Martini Man & Sticky Pinny

*Note none of the chefs and writers will be in attendance at any of our events, they are themed / inspired by the books!
