February ’17 Menu – Ottolenghi Inspired Lunch

We’re already through with January and coming up to our second event of the year! This time we’re lunching and using the reissued version of the Ottolenghi cookbook as our muse. Bold, sunny, spiced flavours to tingle those taste buds.

January ’17 Menu – Scandi Afternoon Tea

Happy New Year to you all! We’re feeling rested (albeit still hungover) after the festive break and in a week’s time we’ll be kicking off our 2017 events.

Our first event of the year is an afternoon tea, using Scandinavian influences as our inspiration. We’ll be inviting out guests to partake in some Fika within the Hygge surroundings of the manor.

Think open sandwiches and rich bakes, this is a great way to start off the new year!

November ’16 Menu – A Middle Eastern Inspired Lunch

In less than a week’s time we’ll be opening up the doors of the Manor for our penultimate 2016 supperclub!

The them this month is Middle Eastern, using Sabrina Ghayour’s marvellous Sirocco for inspiration. We’re big fans of Sabrina, her dishes are simple, straightforward and so so tasty. We’re excited about the menu and excited to be greeting another bunch of lovely guests.

September 2016 Menu – Indian Afternoon Tea

In just under a week we’ll once again be welcoming a lovely bunch of guests to the Manor. This month’s event is an Indian afternoon tea and we will be using the wonderful book The Cardamom Trail by Chetna Makan (GBBO contestant, apt given we’re in the middle of this year’s show).

We’ll be serving up an array of baked delights, all with a spiced twist. Do let us know what you think.

August Menu – Diner Style Classics

Our next event is coming up soon, so we thought we’d share the menu to get your taste buds working! We’ve taken inspiration from classic US diner style recipes and taken them up a notch. Sliders, mac ‘n’ cheese and pecan pie have all made the cut and our guests are in for a treat.

July Menu – Italian Small Plates

After a nice break, we’ll be kicking off the second half of the year’s events Italian style with a number of delicious small plates.

Think classic, traditional Italian flavours but with some twists. Here’s the menu for you to have a nose at, we’d love to know what you think.

May Menu – Filth LIF16

No sooner have we finished April’s event, we’re hurtling towards our May supperclubs which we’re holding as part of the fabulous Leeds Indie Food Festival.

Yep, you read that correctly, this event is “Filth” in honour of some decadent, naughty foods that really shouldn’t be eaten in one sitting. Not only do we have some glorious treats in store, but this will all be washed down with three wonderful cans of craft beer from the brilliant Northern Monk.

I’d suggest our guests do a bit of fasting before they come to this!
