November 2019 Menu – Scandinavian Afternoon Tea

This weekend we’ll be hosting a special supper club NOT at the Manor, inspired by all things Scandinavian. We’re massive Scandiphiles and any excuse for us to bake up some fika treats and create a a little but of hygge tygge (Motherland fans!) for our guests.

Expect a mash of traditional Scandi flavours in and amongst some modern twists. Our guests are in for a treat!

8th Birthday Menu, inspired by Dishoom

No doubt the cookbook of the moment is the wonderful Dishoom “From Bombay with Love” and given Leeds hasn’t managed to bag a Dishoom as yet, we decided to celebrate our 8th year of supperclubbing in style and bring a little bit of Bombay to Leeds.

Who’d have thought our little idea to create a supper club in west Leeds would see us still cooking away! We reckon we’re probably served up almost 10,000 plates of food in that time which is just bonkers!

So here’s our celebratory menu, we hope you like it!

September 2019 Menu – Greek Taverna

This weekend we’ll be hosting the first of our autumn / winter events at the Manor, and this month we’ll be taking our guests to warmer climes in the shape of our Greek Taverna menu.

Bright, sunny flavours with the usual Manor twists! Take a look at the menu and let us know what you think.

August 2019 Menu – Seafood Odyssey Lunch

Next weekend we’ll be welcoming our guests to the Manor and cooking up seafood lunch, inspired by the one and only Rick Stein, in honour of the 20th anniversary of his Seafood Odyssey.

The book itself really showcased Rick’s passion for seafood and travel, showcasing how fish is used across many different cuisines, from India, Spain and beyond.

We’ve picked our menu, and we’d love to know what you think.

July Menu – Vegetarian Bazaar, a fundraiser for Zest

In just over a week we’ll be cooking up a vegetarian feast, inspired by one of our favourite writers and Supperclub queen Sabrina Ghayour, for our guests as part of our fundraiser for Leeds based charity, Zest.

Zest support people living in disadvantaged areas of Leeds. They’re the charity behind Leeds Cookery School and Jamie’s Ministry of Food and aim to improve life chances by promoting healthier lifestyles and enabling fulfilling lives.

We’ll be taking this event out of the Manor this time too, and will be popping up at a secret location in north Leeds!

Here’s the menu we’ll be cooking up!

June 2019 Menu – Portuguese Lunch

After a small hiatus in May, we’re back and raring to go for our summer events. First up is our Portuguese event, inspired by our trips to Portugal, sipping on vinho verde and eating delicious food the sun. We won’t be able to guarantee the weather, but tasty food and good company is a given. We’d love to know what you think.

April 2019 Menu – Simon Rogan

Here’s the menu we’ll be serving up to our lovely guests this coming weekend.

We’re going to try and recreate Michelin starred food for this one, from one of our favourite chefs, Simon Rogan. This event will be equal parts scary and exciting and we’re ready for the challenge!

Also, keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll be announcing some new dates soon…

It’s time to mention the “C” word… Christmas! Next weekend we’ll be hosting our Christmas event and we’ll be taking inspiration from all things USA.

We’ll be cooking up some fun dishes with some American twists and festive cheer. Dan’s already got the tree up and here’s the menu. We can’t wait!
