Lcally grown fruit and vegetables start to appear, spring lamb, things sprouting in the garden, first chance for a barbecue in the semi-warmth, what’s not to love?!

Spring food is great because, after all of the winter stodge, it’s wonderful to try new fresh and light delights…and sup it down with the odd white wine or aperol spritz!

I love spring food because you finally get to move away from the heavy, rich casseroles and stews that I constantly eat during the cold weather. It’s the start of lighter and fresher meals, including salads and it means I get to help plant and grow my own veg ready for summer.
