February Menu – Scandinavian Afternoon Tea

Where does time fly? We’re already in February and next weekend see’s us play host to twelve hungry guests for our Scandinavian afternoon tea. Using Trine Hahnemann’s beautiful book, Scandinavian Baking, we’ll be serving up delicious rye breads, a smorgasbord of tasty toppings and some beautiful pastries and cakes to boot, all served from our vintage china!

Have a nose at our menu and let us know what you think!

    Hi Susie I am booked on for afternoon tea this weekend with James Skene. For reasons known only to himself (and for which he is still trying to justify) he didn’t think it necessary to advise you I don’t eat meat. With such short notice please don’t feel that you need to make separate dishes; the rye bread with the beef simply omitted would be fine and sounds lovely if possible for you to do. I am not sure of the set up of the sausage rolls and how easy it would be to just not add sausage to that so I might just have to miss out on that one.
